Project truck heaven?

I’ve been wanting to get an old 1950s-1950s project truck. I think I just found something dangerous:

So... what say ye, Opponauts?

Since I don’t have a garage or a truck/trailer to haul something around, I’d ideally like to get a project truck that already runs/drives - and by that, I mean it hold together enough to get from point A to point B without having to call a tow truck. Also, I’m on a bit of a budget - anything, say, less than $5k Canadian (~$4K US). Think a person could get something reasonable for that price?

It’s worth a shot! Lots of cool stuff in there, and if you buy one truck from him then you can probably score some parts for it at the same place.

Only trouble is, it’s about a 6 hour drive away. Certainly still doable, though.
